On January 9, 2026, the Reepschlägerhaus was buried deep in snow. Inside, Hanna Westi sang about Winter Wonderland. The certified musical theater singer took advantage of her visit home to Wedel to showcase her powerful voice in two concerts, accompanied on piano by fellow Wedel resident Thorben Korn. Between well-known songs by greats such as Frank Sinatra, Joni Mitchell, and Adele, the singer, who has been living and working in New York since 2019, chatted animatedly about her experiences as a young artist with a German immigrant background. The local audience was thrilled.
